José Elida Veiga, senior professor at USP, in an article for Valor Econômico, discusses in this article how the nuclear risk has been underestimated, in relation to environmental issues. Veiga brings data that the highest impact global risk, with the use of weapons of mass destruction, is among the least expected in a list of 30. Meanwhile, global warming mitigation is highly plausible.
